The LOOK BEYOND THE LABEL pledge was designed for and will be given to nearly 2000 VIPs at the Quality One Wireless Pre-Party for telecommunications professionals attending the International CTIA Wireless Conference taking place in Orlando this week. Kim Kardashian, Bret Michaels and Tommy Davidson will be showing VIPs "Nothin' But A Good Time" while The Foundation Volunteers, Elyse Mundelein and participants in Bishop Grady Villas Job Placement Program share information about the benefits of inclusion and the rewards employers receive when they hire individuals with Down syndrome. Proceeds from a raffle and silent auction that evening will benefit The Foundation's Scholarship Programs. A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to all the individuals who joined in the cause and are helping us let people around the world know that
when POTENTIAL is given OPPORTUNITY the outcome is SUCCESS!
Read the Resolution prepared by The Foundation and Senator Senate Majority Leader Andy Gardiner, (R-Orlando). It was signed by Governor Scott and the Cabinet of the State of Florida in honor of World Down Syndrome Day 2011.
